Programs

Our programs combine clinical psychotherapy with
community outreach, livelihoods, advocacy and research
because mental health never stands alone from the rest of life

The School Community

We engage schools at community level to raise mental health awareness and promote healthy social, emotional and behavioural development, breaking down barriers to learning and improving school retention.

Schools

The Working Mind

Staff wellbeing, group psychotherapy and outdoor team building for organizations — creating cohesion, motivation and lasting memories for teams across the region.

Work Places

Community Mental Health & Psychosocial Support

Economic hardship, inequality, GBV, HIV and substance abuse have driven up anxiety, depression and trauma, while services remain scarce and culturally distant. We offer affordable, professional interventions — individual, family and group psychotherapy — and reach clients within their families and communities through VHTs, parish social workers, CDOs and local authorities.

Research & Advocacy

omprehensive mental and behavioural screening across beneficiary groups assesses neurocognitive, behavioural, social and emotional wellbeing, producing tailored recommendations built on each person's strengths.

Community

School Holiday Programs

Safe Spaces brings 8–25 year olds together every Saturday for shared experience and group psychotherapy, while the annual five-day Teenage Boys Camp empowers young boys to become protective, responsible gentlemen.

Homes

Behaviour Change Communication

We challenge stigma and promote positive mental health practices through workshops, an active social media presence and a weekly radio program on Radio Jubilee FM running every Sunday since December 2021. Through these sessions, we’re able to deliver our services to a wide coverage simultaneously

Community Rehabilitation & Skills Dev't

Unemployment, limited economic opportunity and teenage pregnancy demand more than counselling. In May 2023 we launched ‘Mothers Crafting their Future’, giving young mothers across Fort Portal and Kabarole the chance to produce hand-crafted clothes, accessories and craft items and secure their economic future.

Youth Empowerment & SRHR

Cultural norms, stigma and inadequate sexual and reproductive health education leave young people exposed to unintended pregnancy, STIs and gender-based violence. We deliver sessions and training that equip them to make healthy, informed decisions.
